Spectre d’absorption UV-Visible-NIR d’un verre silicaté sodo-calcique contenant du fer. Les bandes d’absorption relatives au fer ferreux (Fe2+) et au fer ferrique (Fe3+) sont présentées en bleu et en vert, respectivement. Les flèches bleues, rouges et vertes indiquent les domaines du spectre correspondant à du Fe2+ entourés de 4, 5 ou 6 voisins oxygènes (Vercamer, 2016).
