Raman spectrum of a Na2Si4O9 glass containing 1 wt% of water. Signals from inter-tetrahedral (200–750 cm−1) and intra-tetrahedral (Si–O or Al–O stretching, 800–1300 cm−1) are visible, as well as the O–H stretching of the water dissolved in the glass. The peaks labeled as O2 and N2 are atmospheric signals.
