Abstract
Our aim is to examinate the general conditions of the mechanical behaviour of a single lap, bonded joint, in the framework of the homogeneous, isotropic elastoplasticity monotonic or cyclic tensile loads are applied one. The general conditions of the elastic plastic behaviour for the steel substrates are defined.
