Abstract
This experimental study concerns with the influence of Zinc Iodide penetrant on the damage evolution of carbon/epoxy laminates submitted to creep loading. It appears that impregnation under stress very much accelerates the damage evolution, with the initiation and propagation of numerous cracks. The higher the applied stress is, the more important is the Znl2 influence. Then, a very strict methodology has to be followed in order to quantify the only creep damage.
