Résumé
L’objectif de ce projet, inscrit dans le 6e PCRD, est de fournir aux PME les connaissances pour proposer à l’industrie des transports des composants légers en alliages de magnésium forgés au meilleur coût. Faible densité, propriétés mécaniques élevées et recyclabilité totale couplées aux avantages conférés par le forgeage permettent d’alléger les véhicules et de réduire les émissions polluantes.
Abstract
This project, under 6th framework programme of the European Commission, aims to provide SME’s with the cost-effective knowledge to provide the automotive industry with light forged magnesium-based alloys components. Low density, high mechanical properties and total recyclability pairing with the advantages provided by forging processes enable to lighten vehicles therefore reduce pollutant emissions.
