La ténacité des matériaux composites a fibres courtes orientées au hasard
Fracture toughness of randomly oriented short fiber reinforced composite materials
Président du Conseil Scientifique, Laboratoire Matériaux - Institut de Génie Civil, Université de Annaba, Algérie
Abstract
Fracture toughness standard testing methods for composite materials remain not known. The application of the concepts of fracture mechanics to study the crack growth and fracture of these materials is a controversial subject.
We sum in this paper the state of the main knowledge published in the literature. Only randomly distributed short fiber composites are studied.
