A misting free endoscope sapphire lens is obtained near the human temperature under the saturated humidity atmosphere by the use of a sheet electron beam irradiation [SEBI] treatment. It shows the SEBI treatment decreases the time to clear vision in a misted lens. It deceases 4 s at 90.4 Mrad. This effect is due to an enhancement of the interfacial energy between the endoscope lens and water. Based on the results of size distribution of drops number, we suggest the reason of clear vision for the endoscope sapphire lens treated by SEBI. The misting free endoscope lens will improve a load, which causes an excess fatigue and wrong diagnosis of medical doctors.
