Duplex 22-05 stainless steel manifold fabrication

Abstract
For Nkossa project, a total of about 1500 tonnes of duplex stainless steel has been used for the fabrication of one sealine, piping and pressure vessels. It’s because of its high mechanical resistance and good corrosion resistance that duplex stainless steel has been chosen. This paper describes material procurement, welding procedure and construction of stainless steel manifolds.
