Optimization of wear caracteristics and the microstructure of high-carbon steels :

High carbon steels whose properties can be improved with heat treatments, are generally used as wear resisting materials. Wear properties are also dependent upon the mic rostructure and hardness of materials (heat treatments).
In this study, the relationship between wear caracteristics and microstructure of material in high carbon steels was investigated and experimental results were optimized.
