Abstract
The quantification of the bacteriostatic and bactericidal activities, expressed as the MIC and the MBC respectively, provides important data for the choice of an industrial biocide treatment. The methods for determining these parameters in microtitration plates, and results obtained with planktonic and sessile sulfate-reducing-bacteria are presented here.
