Abstract
Thermally Stimulated Current, TSC/RMA spectroscopy has been applied to the characterization of amorphous phases in multiphasic polymers. The particularity of this technics is to allow to get experimentaly the relaxation map of the transitions.
A preliminary study of homopolymer has shown that the compensation diagram can be used for defining the “structure” of an amorphous phase. In amorphous copolymers, the compensation diagram gives phase segregation. Data obtained on a series of latex have been reported, as example.
