Abstract
The effects of various chemical and electrochemical pretreatments of the metallic substrates are investigated. The mechanical properties of the bonded systems are determined by using a single lap shear test and a three point flexural test. The change in the electrical features of the bonded joints are followed versus aging by studying the impedance diagrams.
