Abstract
In order to design a latent heat storage tank using aluminium, a container for liquid metal is described. The wall must be resistant to liquid aluminium corrosion, good heat conductor and resistant to particles abrasion because we use fluidized bed as heat transfer medium. Consequently the container is composed of a graphite tube puts inside a Steel tube, the heat transfer between the two elements is realized by liquid lead. The resistance of this System to corrosion and cycling between 800°C and 350°C is presented.
