Abstract
To appreciate corrosion rate of non-protected metals in atmosphere, the method said « by weight loss », giving a good idea when corrosion is uniform, is very employed. This article evaluates the precision that one can wait from this method, using statistic calculation to know some more about the dispersion of results. If needed, one can judge of a landscape and an exposition environment convenience, and insure the reproductibility of a method.
