VII - Influence de la déformation et des conditions de chargement sur la perméation électrochimique de l’hydrogène à température ambiante dans un acier 4120
Role of deformation and charging conditions on the permeability to electrolytic hydrogen of 4120 steel at 298 K
Abstract
Electrolytic permeation tests were conducted on 4120 HSLA steel samples in order to investigate the role of surface effects, charging conditions and deformation on the hydrogen flux and diffusivity. The pH, the conditions for the hydrogen ingress, the presence of H2S in the charging medium lead to a wide range of values of the permeation characteristics.
