Past, present and future of iron powder

Abstract
Some comments on iron base P/M activities prior to and during World War II are made. Present position of this technology is scrutinized in the light of recent developments, especially during the last 10-15 years. Statistics on iron powder shipments are presented and analyzed. For comments and thoughts on future developments reference is made to the many interesting contributions to P/M ’78 — SEMP 5.
