Abstract
The mobile dislocation density and velocity have been related to the crystallographic texture via the evolution equation. This relationship allows in principle to express the final texture which is developed in a material as a function of a few physical parameters only. The basic equations are proposed only in this work. Their numerical solution needs the knowledge of the dislocation density and velocity as well as the geometrical parameters of shear bands as a function of deformation for a considered material. However, an analytical solution has been found for the particular case of the Sachs type model deformation.
